Hong Kong is one of the most wonderful cities in the world, a lot of people don’t know that Hong Kong is actually part of China, but off course, they didn’t follow the communist model as they are capitalist oriented. For many years this city was ruled by the British in  a 100 year contract, and much of the world’s biggest banks in the world as in today were born back in the days in prosperous Hong Kong.

Hong Kong maintains a great level of autonomy; it has its own currency, immigration control system, legal and political system, but everything regarding foreign policy is managed in main land China also known as the Peoples Republic of China (PRC). Since the year 1842 to 1997 this great and highly developed city was ruled and managed by United Kingdom until they transferred the sovereignty to China. But it stayed as a free economy market like always.

Hong Kong climate is warm most of the year but with a high degree of humidity, it’s also one of the most dense populated areas in the world today with as much of 7 million people in a place of 1,054 square kilometers, that is the reason for so many skyscrapers. If you are going to travel to Hong Kong you don't want to come back, it is known as a city were the east meets the west, it has a great mixture of cultures. You can also observe the highly rapid speed of the modern world and the ancient cultural Chinese traditions in all parts of the city.

Despite the cities fame consisting only in buildings there is also the nature side, more than 70 per cent of the city are mountains, valleys and coast line. If you are planning a visit with your couple its a great place to go because it has a lot spas, country clubs, great restaurants serving mixing east and west foods and bars.

If your trip is with the family you have a wide variety of choices including national parks, gardens, amusement parks and fantasy land shopping malls. I strongly recommend taking a trip to this amazing place, and if you're for business, try to behave yourself as things will get crazy I can assure you that. Hong Kong is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world with endless fun for any age.
